My name is Rob, and I enjoy anything and everything to do with space and astrophotography. I have been practicing astrophotography since late 2019, but have been fascinated by space ever since I was a little kid.

I live in Prescott Valley, Arizona (USA). This gives me opportunities to image under very dark skies, between Bortle class 4 and 1. My backyard is a Bortle class 4, and only 30 minutes away gets me to a Bortle class 2. I can get to a B1 sky in only an hour and a half.

I am a member of the Prescott Astronomical Club, so I have an unlimited amount of resources at my disposal. I am also a student at Arizona State University, in pursuit of my Secondary Education (earth & space science) degree – as I want to become a high school science teacher. This also gives me access to ASU’s astronomy facilities and clubs.

I am still a beginner in astrophotography, but I hope to share my trials and tribulations with everyone, in hopes to help out another novice like myself.
